PROJECT MANAGEMENT & SAFETY IN CALGARY AND SURROUNDING PROVINCES

PROJECT SYSTEMS & EXECUTION

Many years of project management and construction experience in Calgary and surrounding provinces have resulted in the development of several unique systems and procedures for asbestos abatement, such as scheduling, accounting, cost control and progress monitoring. These systems were designed to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and provide workable project control and reporting.

ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS OF A WELL-MANAGED PROJECT

Planning is critical to our project execution philosophy. It helps us stay on top of our customer’s budget and helps us implement cost saving solutions while maintaining maximum productivity. Sealtech Restorations emphasizes that field supervision is an essential component of a well-managed project and involve their supervisors in the planning of all projects at the earliest stage.

DETAILED SCHEDULING

Schedules are ‘field usable.’ Typically, Sealtech Restorations’ scope is shown on a single sheet, identifying all of the project execution steps. Construction activities are broken down by work assignments and by discipline. Man hours, crew size, and duration are identified, along with applicable milestones for each activity.

THOROUGH EQUIPMENT CHECKS & MAINTENANCE

Sealtech Restorations has the latest state-of-the-art equipment in the industry. Our company’s preventative maintenance program ensures that all equipment is checked and/or serviced each time it leaves or enters our shop.

Sealtech Restorations employs a mobile fleet of trailers that can be mobilized quickly to a jobsite regardless of whether the project is a same-day response clean-up or a long-term project on a remote Western Canadian site.

Sealtech Restorations has promoted an excellent working relationship with subcontractors and works on the principle that subcontractors are a prime factor in a project’s success!

The challenge of doing business in today’s environment requires that we maintain our commitment to internal efficiency, cost control and monitoring, and orderly project execution.

EXTENSIVE PERSONNEL TRAINING

Sealtech Restorations is committed to supplying the most qualified personnel available, and well maintained, functional asbestos abatement equipment. To this end, Sealtech Restorations provides its personnel extensive in-house and external training. Through continuous monitoring and revisions to our training and safety programs, our company ensures that all personnel meet or exceed all federal, municipal, and provincial training and safety requirements.

SAFETY & LOSS PREVENTION

Sealtech Restorations promotes a corporate commitment to safety. As an active member of the Alberta Construction Safety Association, our company is pleased to confirm our enrolment in the Certificate of Recognition (COR) program. The COR is regulated by Alberta Labour – Occupational Health and Safety, and awarded to companies that have had an external audit undertaken on their health and safety program, and have met the standards set by the construction industry in Alberta.

CORPORATE SAFETY MANUAL

Sealtech Restorations has produced a safety manual that is used on all of our work sites which can also supplement any client’s specific safety requirements. Upon request, our corporate safety manual will be sent to your office for your review.
